Job Description: Power Platform & MS Dynamics Solutions Architect
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Power Platform & MS Dynamics Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement advanced solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into scalable and efficient technical architecture, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
This role requires a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 modules, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure services, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture Design:
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Define architecture and integration strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization.
- Technical Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation of Dynamics 365 applications, including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, and Supply Chain modules.
- Leverage Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to build custom applications, workflows, and dashboards.
- Design and manage integration between Dynamics 365, external systems, and Azure services.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Governance and Best Practices:
- Establish and enforce development standards, security guidelines, and governance policies for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft technologies and recommend innovative solutions to drive business value.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced user experiences.
- Documentation and Training:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution designs, configurations, and processes.
- Train end-users and technical teams on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture and design, with at least 5 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, etc.) and Power Platform components.
- Proficiency in Azure services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
- Experience with integration tools (e.g., KingswaySoft, SSIS) and data migration strategies.
- Familiarity with ALM processes, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Dynamics 365 Solution Architect certifications.
- Experience in designing solutions for large-scale, enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and advanced analytics tools.
- Hands-on experience with Dataverse (CDS) and model-driven apps.
